Newcastle welcome back UCL football to St James' Park

Huge night at St James' Park
It's a huge night in the Norh East as Champions League football returns to St James' Park with Newcastle hosting PSG.
There could be a glimpse into the future for the Saudi-owned Magpies seeing what Qatar have done to build PSG up into a European powerhouse - at least in terms of spending on star names.
PSG haven't managed to land this prize yet but they usually have no problem getting through the group stages at least - as they've done 11 times in a row.
Even for a team of this experience they'll face a tough atmosphere with a bouncing Newcastle crowd and they're not totally settled under new boss Luis Enrique as yet.
They looked pretty good in a 2-0 win over Dortmund in the first game while Newcastle drew in Milan, but on the road in the Champions League their recent form is poor (W2, D3, L4).
Back both teams to score
The bookies can't split these two with them both priced up at 13/82.63 for the win - and that speaks to both the rousing home atmosphere expected and PSG's slightly dodgy form this season.
They're fifth in a Ligue 1 title race they usually walk and they've lost half of the 14 European away games they'ved played in England (W3 D4 L7).
Both sides have been keeping clean sheets recently - PSG three in a row and Newcastle five on the spin, but I just think the occasion will help the hosts find the net, while there's so much attacking in the visiting squad not to score.
Back Mbappe to shoot & score
Kylian Mbappe's numbers are just ridiculous and even this season he started his campaign by scoring eight goals in seven games - including three games where he scored twice.
He's also bagged six goals in 11 games against English sides in the Champions League, and although Newcastle will have a plan for him he's too good not to find the net.
Mbappe is just 6/52.20 to score here but we can improve on that by doubling him up to also have 4+ shots in the match at 4/51.80.
Four should be the bare minimum for Mbappe if he plays the full 90 minutes, as that's the fewest he's managed in six completed games so far this season.
Fouls out wide
Winning the battles out wide could be crucial here, especially with Mbappe hovering around out on the left and joined by Ousmane Dembele and Randal Kolo Muani in a front three full of pace.
I feel for Kieran Trippier here going up against Mbappe so it makes sense to back him to give away 2+ fouls on the night at 13/102.30.
Anthony Gordon is the same price and looks a must-add for this bet with the way he charges around the field and with a special atmosphere and five cards to his name already this season - a couple of fouls should be nothing.
We'll go big on this one though so we'll make it a treble by throwing in Achraf Hakimi for 2+ fouls as well at 5/61.84.
The Moroccan has had four multiple foul games in just eight outings so far this season, and operating on the PSG right he'll come up against the pacy Gordon.
Gordon's also known for hitting the deck a touch theatrically of course, and he's drawn multiple fouls in six games - and Hakimi will be the nearest man to h im most of the time.
