Under pressure Slot needs a win
Liverpool are in full blown crisis mode after Saturday's shock 0-3 home defeat to struggling Nottingham Forest, a result that means Arne Slot's men have lost six of their last seven Premier League games as well as being knocked out of the EFL Cup with a home defeat to Crystal Palace.
There's no suggestion that Slot is fighting to save his job but he is the clear 5/16.00 second favourite in Betfair's latest Sack Race market, and Liverpool are out to 22/123.00 to retain their Premier League crown.
In Europe it's going quite well for Liverpool. They've won three of their four Champions League games to date including an excellent victory over Real Madrid in Matchday 4, and now they host Dutch champions PSV knowing that a victory will cement their place in the top eight of the table.
PSV are going strong however, they're clear at the top of the Dutch Eredivisie and they've lost just one of their four Champions League games (W1, D2, L1). Can they spring a surprise at Anfield and heap more pressure on Slot?
Not surprisingly, Liverpool are red hot favourites to win the game and below you can see a chart showing the percentage chance of winning according to the Betfair Exchange Match Odds market.
