The Weekly Political Video: Time to take a look at Ken Livingstone
After looking at the wild and wonderful clips of Boris Johnson last week, it seems only right that we take the other half of the comedy duo to task. I give you Mayor Ken Livingstone...
It's undeniable that Red Ken has one of the most irritating voices in politics. Looking past that, however, what are the politics and policies behind the man himself? First up, here is a recent interview with the BBC in which he tackles questions on some of the key issues in May's election including campaign funding, Lee Jasper, transport and crime.
But Ken is behind in the polls and, indeed, on Betfair at [2.7], currently trailing Boris Johnson who is [1.61]. How could this be...?
Central to the election - somehow - is the magic 'bendy bus'. How this is up there with issues such as knife crime, education and policing I'll never know, but that's not the point. Nevertheless, it's Betfair's Weekly Political Video installment, and it just wouldn't be the same without a song...
Yes love, it was... Rubbish.
But, at the end of the day, everyone likes a good laugh, so maybe it's time we ensured Ken got back into office so we can get a few more years of amusement like this.
No... No... No...!
