Timeform run the rule over the Weatherby's Bank handicap...

Indian Trail responded well to a visor when it was tried for the first time and he could be the answer here with blinkers getting an airing on this occasion. He should get a strong pace to chase and can prove too good for Discanti and Le Toreador.

Stolt was twice successful in 2008 and showed he remained competitive off this higher mark when he was second at Chester in June. He looked badly in need of the run on his reappearance though and a big leap forward required here.

Rasaman came good last summer and got back to winning ways for this rider at Thirsk last time out. He has a 4 lb higher mark to contend with this time though and that could find him out.

Total Impact is back to the same mark as when landing a big-field event at Goodwood in July. The conditions here are no problem but he went the wrong way last autumn and needed his first run back last season.

Indian Trail has dropped a long way in the weights after a winless 2008 and there was more encouragement when he was third over Epsom's 5f in April. He was too free from a wide draw at 6f last time and this may prove more suitable.

Hotham was a dual-winning sprinter on easy ground in 2008, and looked better than ever in the process. He is yet to hit top gear this season but is now back on his last winning mark.

Le Toreador is a front-running sprinter who completed a hat-trick last summer and still looks to be progressing despite going winless since. He has done too much to lead on both starts this year and has a chance in this race.

Discanti won two 5f handicaps in Scotland in 2008 and improved again when third at Thirsk on his reappearance. He then had excuses at Southwell and connections changed tactics last time. He remains capable of better.

Pacific Pride got back to winning ways when well drawn and making all in a Beverley handicap last time. This easier 5f might not be so suitable, though.

Baybshambles gained three wins while working his way up the weights last year and looked as good as ever when a close second to Pacific Pride last time. More needed here from 3 lb out of the handicap though.
