Having met trouble, it was striking how much ground Senorita Bonita made up inside the final furlong to collar the reopposing Fast Track at Nottingham and she can take the step up in class in her stride.
Following her debut win, joint-trainer Simon Crisford said: "I think her turn of foot was exceptional. What pleased me the most was her temperament. I think she'll improve a lot mentally and physically and I think she's a filly with a great future ahead of her."
An expensive purchase at 900,000 guineas, Senorita Bonita is a daughter of Starspangledbanner, who won the Golden Jubilee Stakes here in 2010, while her unraced dam Belicious is related to several Group 2 winners (albeit over further), so she's bred to be very good.
As long as she can hang onto their coattails early then she should be coming home best of all; she is fancied to see off fellow 'Horses In Focus' Alta Regina, Wild Blossom and Kentucky Rain.

The classy Friendly Soul was a winner at the highest level as a three-year-old so looks the one to beat if none the worse for her experience at Haydock.
The John & Thady Gosden-trained mare looked really well beforehand and was in the process of showing she retains all her ability back from 20 months off when her race was ended by appearing to put her foot in a hole, unearthing a drainage issue that caused the rest of the round-course races on the card to be abandoned.
Having taken a keen hold in second, she was narrowly in front and yet to be asked for any effort when the incident happened, heavily eased off immediately after and pulled up.
She beat Kalpana in the Pretty Polly in her younger years, and this looks the perfect assignment for this C&D winner given the strong recent form of her stable which currently has the Timeform 'hot trainer' flag.

Top-rated Alobayyah is still unexposed and couldn't have shaped much better granted her disadvantageous track position over C&D last time. She's fancied to reverse form with the pair that finished ahead of her and take this competitive event.
The daughter of Ghaiyyath wasn't at her best over further on her final start at three, but returned with purpose last month and a repeat of that run - off just 1 lb higher - should see her very competitive.
William Haggas ('hot trainer' flag) has run three horses in this handicap before, but all three were sent off at 40/1, and didn't have the leading claims of Alobayyah who is the clear pick of three 'Horses In Focus' in the contest.

Timeform's Day 2 Royal Ascot double
Back Friendly Soul (15:40 Royal Ascot) and Alobayyah (17:35 Royal Ascot) in a win double.
Betfair is offering Bet £10 Get £10 on Multis, and the multi that makes the most appeal is a win double consisting of the class act Friendly Soul and the year-younger filly Alobayyah.
Friendly Soul shaped well on her comeback and is proven at the course, while Alobayyah is clearly on a good handicap mark and must go close if handling this quicker ground.
