It's time for Roberto Mancini to earn his corn, says Lee
In this exclusive video Ambassador Dixon holds court on the Premier League title race and he has bad news for former club Arsenal but foresees a sunnier outlook for north London rivals Spurs...
Manchester City are still Lee Dixon's title selection but the Arsenal legend sees the race going to the wire and warns that Spurs are not to be written off.
Speaking to Betfair on a freezing Monday by the Thames, Dixon said there was no reason to write Tottenham off this year, pointing to the depth of the squad and praising their strength as a side.
But City, the [1.56] Premier League favourites, are still his fancy, despite encountering a few key absences at present. The league battle, however, still has a few twists and turns to come and will go to the death.
Of the recent Premier League champions, Dixon was unimpressed by the return of 'stopgap' Paul Scholes to a 'disappointing' Manchester United side, while Chelsea 'have a lot to offer' following the signing of Gary Cahill.
As for Arsenal, Dixon was downbeat, seeing 'big changes' ahead if the club doesn't qualify for the Champions League. And Dixon quashed rumours of a return to action for the Gunners - unable to agree terms apparently.
