Hull City continue to refuse to know when they're beaten and their inplay layers on Betfair continue to pay the price, after the Tigers were matched at [580.0[ to beat Middlesbrough after going a goal down with just 11 minutes left on the clock....
Hull were matched at that price for just £1 (50p backed, 50p laid) but in a time of financial crisis, the lucky backer will be singing the praises of Marlon King nonetheless, after the former Watford man slotted home a penalty to win the match for the home side very late on. Surprisingly, the 2-1 scoreline was matched at just [85.0].
Over at St James Park, Newcastle let a two-goal lead slip thanks to a last-minute effort from Amdy Faye. A Michael Owen brace put the Magpies two up and reminded Fabio Capello that he's got plenty of goals still left in him.
With Newcastle leading by two, they were matched at just [1.04], with the draw trading at [28.0]. The point does however take Newcastle temporarily out of the relegation zone and they are now [5.7] for the drop; despite Stoke being three points clear of them, they are just [1.83] for relegation.
Elsewhere Liverpool were matched at [2.9] before beating Blackburn 3-1 to keep their title hopes very much alive and they are now [5.8] to win the title for the first time since the start of the Premiership.
Chelsea were matched at 2.4 to be leading at half-time against Bolton and ended up winning 2-0 with minimum fuss to remain just one point behind Liverpool; they are the favourites to win the league at [2.32]. Another Anelka goal has solidified his position as the favourite to end as the Premiership's top scorer and he is now available at just [3.2], ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo who is available at [4.2].
