Betfair Ambassador Paul Nicholls talks to Barry Orr to discuss his runners at Sandown, Musselburgh and Wetherby on Saturday...

  • Race will suit Hermes Allen and hopeful he'll go very well

  • Onethreefivenotout sill improving and will love the track

  • Afadil and Farnoge have strong chanes at Musselburgh

Paul has a totle of nine runners across three cards on Saturday with undoubtedly the star of the show being Hermes Allen in the Grade 1 Scilly Isles at Sandown at 14:35.

Paul says, "I think this trip on a stiff track will suit him nicely. It's a good race with plenty of pace in the race, but I'm hopeful he'll go very well."

Earlier on the card Paul has another good chance in the Novice Handicap Hurdle at 13:25 in the shape of Onethreefivenotout, and on him Paul says, "Competitive race, he's improving though, he'll love the track.

"This trip will be much more suitable for him, he hasn't got a lot of miles on the clock, so hopeful of a very good run from him."

Paul's final runner at Sandown on Saturday is Touquet in the National Hunt Flat race at 16:20.

Paul says, "He's a nicely-bred horse, he has lots of stamina which you need to win around Sandown. This is a hotter bumper than the one he run in the other day but he's improving and hopefully he'll go close.

Up at Musselburgh Paul has a strong contender in a wide-open Handicap Hurdle at 14:50 in the shape of Afadil who he believes will enjoy the step back to 2m on drying ground.

In the Novice Hurdle at 15:25 Paul saddles Farnoge who he beleives got bogged down in the mud in the Challow last time.

Paul says, "Before the Challow he ran very well at Ascot when he won on decent ground. That form's good, he won at Newton Abbot before that, I'm sure he'll appreciate three miles so yes he should have a nice chance aswell."

Paul concludes by saying he has lots of chances this weekend but that he's very sweet on Hermes Allen in the Scilly Isles at Sandown.
