Two good Grade 2 chances at Haydock
Ascot has already fallen victim to the current cold snap which leaves Paul Nicholls with seven runners across two cards on Saturday.
At Taunton, Paul says Farnoge, although a nice horse for the future, is ready to do his job in the opening 12:45 contest, while Oscars Sunchine has a nice weight and "must have a nice chance" in the 14:30 Handicap Hurdle.
Frodon is one of the stable stars at Ditcheat and Paul has found a nice opportunity for him in the Portman Cup at 15:17 with the Betfair Ambassador saying, "He's in really good order, the conditions of the race obviously suit him well, he's got a leading chance.".
Fame And Fun (15:50) and Larchmont Lass (16:20) complete Paul's quintet of Taunton runners with both having excellent chances of justifying their favourite tags.
Paul also has two runners at Haydock on Saturday with Stage Star having a "big chance" in the Grade 2 Novices' Chase at 12:20, while Toothless, a 35-length winner on stable debut, is a smart horse says Paul with the 13:30 Grade 2 Novices' Hurdle at 13:30 being perfect for him.
