Insight on his other runners on Saturday
Having announced the retirement of three-time Grade 1 winner Frodon on today's Ditcheat Decs, Paul went on to discuss his runners at Newbury and Taunton on Saturday.
The 14-time champion trainer has some big chances across the afternoon at the Berkshire track, especially in the Grade 1 Challow Novices' Hurdle.

Nicholls looking for fourth straight Challow win
Paul said: "We have won [the Challow] the last three years but this looks the hottest renewal for a long time.
"Captain Teague is very well, he has run very well [this season]. He won the Persian War and gave away a penalty at Cheltenham.
"I don't think it all went quite to plan at Cheltenham, but he will run very well. The ground will suit him and the track will suit him."
Paul also has Farnoge in the race at a bigger price with the Betfair Sportsbook but believes he has a fair chance in the contest.
He added: "I don't think Farnoge is too far behind Captain Teague. He keeps on winning and has been very impressive this year.
"He will love the track and the ground, but there are some good horses in this race and it is going to be a very hard race to win."
Pair aiming for handicap glory
Paul is doubly represented in the handicap hurdle at 13:50 with both Irish Hill and Silent Revolution going for Team Ditcheat.
Nicholls said: "Silent Revolution had a major wind op in the autumn, he is a bit behind and playing catch-up.
"My thinking was give him a run over hurdles and then try and go back chasing with him.
"I thought Irish Hill raced a bit lazy behind the bridle the last day and that has been something he has done from time to time.
"A pair of blinkers are now on him to sharpen him up. If he runs to his best form he will go well."
