Andrew Balding-trained filly Wise And Wonderful has shaped with promise this term and could bounce back to form back in handicap company from a mark only 1lb higher than when narrowly denied by Bincimbal at Epsom in her penultimate outing.
The daughter of Oasis Dream wasn't at her best here when last seen but is capable of better, as proven previously, and could make it third time lucky at Goodwood as she bids for a second career success. She's entitled to show further improvement and could make her presence felt in this field under Oisin Murphy.

Whilst a leap of faith is required, Wild Bessie could be capable of outrunning her odds in a first-time tongue-tie under Robbie Colgan in this Listed contest. She needs to take a significant step forward but is back on a softer surface on which she won her maiden at Cork in the spring.
In her sole success to date, the daughter of Space Blues defied odds of 28/129.00 to beat now 102-rated Aidan O'Brien-trained filly Signora, a subsequent winner who went on to place at Group Three level, and recent handicap winner Expert Dancer. She didn't run her race in Stakes company when last seen, but has had a bit of a break since and could return in better form.
It's too early to give up on the Henry de Bromhead-trained filly who has shown some noteworthy form in testing conditions, and she could be worth keeping onside at a price.

Caburn is one to note at a price for James Tate and Hector Crouch in this competitive handicap. He's equipped with a first-time visor as he attempts to make a return to the winners' enclosure, and could outrun his odds from a mark of 96.
The four-year-old grey is a formidable contender on his day and placed in Listed company behind Aramram earlier in the year on reappearance. He performed with credit behind Tuco Salamanca from a 4lb higher mark in a 14-runner Newcastle handicap during the summer, before being far from disgraced when fourth in a Listed July Course contest to Prince Of India at huge odds.
Capable of better than when last seen at Ayr, the likeable grey shouldn't be discounted for an in-form yard under an in-form rider.

Notable winners from Katie in recent weeks
Joseph O'Brien-trained Galileo Dame has been running well in deep company this season, putting in a number of impressive performances. She recently placed a close third in the Irish Cesarewitch at the Curragh, outrunning odds of 25/126.00 under Chris Hayes, having finished fourth in the Chester Cup earlier in the campaign.
The likeable mare is only 1lb higher than when appearing on the Roodee, and has since placed at Listed level too, therefore should be in with a solid chance at the weights.

Likeable gelding Brian made a long-awaited return to the winners' enclosure with a comfortable four-and-three-quarter-length on Betfair Sprint Cup Day at Haydock last month. A 9lb rise will make this a tougher test, but he has shown some top class form in the past, including from a higher rating than his latest win off 99, and could put in another bold bid following a confidence booster.
Things haven't always fallen favourably for him in his races, but on his day he has shown he can compete in deep Stakes company. Last year, on yard debut for Stan Moore, Brian finished a two-length fourth to Big Mojo in the Commonwealth Cup Trial, and he also mixed it with black-type achievers as a juvenile.
The son of Shaman will cope with an ease in the surface and, following a dominant victory over 7f in soft conditions, could have a bright future ahead over this trip of a mile.

Gary and Josh Moore-trained Storming Point is an interesting contender from a mark of 84 under Luke Morris. He remains largely unexposed but has gained some valuable experience, including over course-and-distance here during the summer when sixth to Exclusive Code in a competitive 19-runner handicap.
The three-year-old Blue Point colt has been performing consistently well throughout his career to date, recording form figures of 232265, with both of his latest outings coming in big-field handicaps. There could be more to come from him and his current mark may prove lenient in time.

Navy Waters is dropping back in distance but should put her proven stamina to good use late on over this extended mile-and-a-quarter trip, particularly should the ground become testing late on the card at Naas.
The five-year-old mare has put in a number of creditable efforts in defeat this season, making the frame on multiple occasions including when fourth to In My Teens in a 13-runner Curragh handicap during the summer and then when fifth of 18 runners behind Threat Of Gold at Galway. She has finished third twice in her previous four runs, and, from a mark of 84, should be capable of holding her own in this company.
Although she's 11lb higher than her last winning mark, she has proven she's more than capable of posing a threat from a higher rating since and this could be a feasible opportunity for her.

Course-and-distance Apercu has struggled to perform to her best in recent outings but has dropped to a mark of 85 as a result and has 5lb claiming Reese Holohan in the saddle. She's 7lb lower than her last winning mark in familiar surroundings and did prove earlier this season that she still retains ability when a good fourth of 16 runners in a Cork handicap behind Final Voyage.
It could be worth sticking with the six-year-old mare, who is on a workable rating with proven course form in softer conditions.
