She could be well-treated from a mark of 98 if able to perform to the best of her ability over these larger obstacles, and may be capable of a big run if taking to this new challenge.

Related to winning chaser Romero, there's potential for this six-year-old mare to show improvement as a chaser and she's representing a yard with an all-time success-rate of 22 percent over fences at this track.

A winner for Henry de Bromhead earlier in her career, Love Me has shown she still retains ability on a couple of outings for her current stable, including when beaten only two-and-a-half-lengths at Chepstow when last seen, and could be worth keeping onside.

Three-year-old filly Romantic Twilight hasn't been at her best so far this term, but she's racing once again at the scene of her sole career success having won on this card twelve months ago, and could be capable of further improvement as she steps up to a mile in familiar surroundings. Further improvement is required on her form this year, however, she did shape with promise as a juvenile last season and this new challenge could suit.

Her dam, Sir Percy mare Percy's Romance, showed form over a mile-and-a-half, and her half-brother Top Tug finished third in a Chester Listed event over an extended mile-and-three-quarters, therefore there's enough stamina in the pedigree to suggest this step up could be worth a try.

Richard Spencer has a noteworthy 46 percent strike-rate with his juveniles at this track, and Starburster could land successive wins on her all-weather debut at Newcastle.

The Liam Bailey-trained gelding has performed consistently well at this venue this year, achieving form figures of 421223313 at the track following a seventh-placed effort in his first start of 2026. He has plenty of course experience and appears on a workable mark.
