Boxing Day horse racing tips and insight
The ITV action kicks off with a novices' limited handicap chase that can go to the highly promising Noble Park.
Nicky Henderson's six-year-old was a fair hurdler, but has already proven better over the bigger obstacles and he made a winning chase debut at Hereford last month before absolutely bolting up at Lingfield on his most recent start.
He took a big step forward in form terms from that first run over fences to the second, and there's the prospect of plenty more to come from one who could still prove very leniently handicapped off a mark of 125.

MYdaddypaddy once again created a tremendous impression under a confident ride when readily seeing off 2 rivals on his most recent outing at Haydock 23 days ago. Looking every inch a high-class novice in the making, he can maintain his 100% record and bring up the 4-timer.
Idaho Sun is another very promising sort who looks ready for this step up in grade and may emerge next best. Diamond Hunter completes the shortlist.

He ran ok in the Rising Stars Novices' Chase at Wincanton last month. The ground was probably quick enough, he likes decent ground but jumped a little bit lazily. Three miles will suit him better, he stays well and the flat track will suit him here, and the fact the ground is dry and probably just on the easy side of good is perfect.
But just on the bare bones of his last race he needs to improve. He beat Kitzbuhel at Sandown in the spring and on his day Blueking is a good horse. He is in good shape so he's got a chance definitely.
Away from Kempton, this selection won't win any prizes for originality, but the progressive young chaser Konfusion looks one of the best bets of the day.
Joel Parkinson & Sue Smith have got their horses in flying form at the moment and they took a big staying handicap over the weekend at Haydock with Grand Geste. That one was an unexposed young chaser and, while Konfusion has had more experience over fences than that one, he's still in a very similar mould, with his only real blip coming when unseating at Haydock last month.
He quickly put that behind him when dotting up by 15 lengths in the Rehearsal Chase at Newcastle last time, jumping assuredly and winning impressively.
The selection is also unbeaten on both previous visits Wetherby, which is a bonus with this race in mind, and it's one that looked an obvious target from the moment he passed the post up at Gosforth Park.
Back Konfusion in 13:35 Wetherby
The eagerly-awaited return of Sir Gino, who should provide Nicky Henderson with a record-extending 14th success in this race and stretch his own unbeaten record to 7. Golden Ace gets the vote for the forecast spot ahead of C&D specialist Rubaud.
Back Sir Gino to Win 13:55 Kempton
Likeable gelding Gaelic Warrior hasn't been without his quirks during an eventful career to date, but has been a force to be reckoned with on a good day and should prove tough to beat once again if he turns up in similar form to his latest run at Punchestown.
The Closutton representative made all to beat stablemate Fact To File in the John Durkan on his return to action last month, fighting back once headed by the eventual second, displaying a great attitude and tenacious qualities.
The versatile contender, who won the Arkle at the Cheltenham Festival last year, has been effective over varied distances and in varying ground conditions too. He beat Il Etait Temps in a memorable Faugheen Novice Chase at Limerick in heavy conditions a couple of years ago, and was also effective over 3m1f on a sounder surface in the Aintree Bowl this year.
Bidding for a fourth successive win and his third Grade One of 2025, Gaelic Warrior is difficult to oppose. He seems to have a preference for a right-handed track and Kempton should suit the usually sound jumper perfectly.
If he can get into a good rhythm, Gaelic Warrior should thrive in this prestigious event and has to be top of the shortlist.
