Timeform's Tony McFadden highlights a Nap and Next Best selection at Market Rasen on Thursday.
NAP
Lady Babs - 12:47 Market Rasen
Lady Babs has an excellent record at this venue and her form figures over course and distance read 11222. That record could be even better, however, as she looked unlucky to finish second on her latest outing here in July when she was only denied by a head after meeting trouble in running. Lady Babs then disappointed at Perth and Sedgefield, but she bounced back to form at the latter venue a couple of weeks ago, posting a creditable runner-up effort. Lady Babs is able to run off the same mark here, which is the same mark as when an unlucky second on her latest crack over this course and distance.
NEXT BEST
Bridge North - 15:05 Market Rasen
Bridge North shaped with promise when fifth in a two-and-a-half mile handicap hurdle on his reappearance at Aintree last month, staying on well after being outpaced towards the end of the back-straight. Bridge North left the impression at Aintree that he would benefit from the return to further, while he is also entitled to be sharper with the outing under his belt, so it would be no surprise to see him take a step forward over this longer trip. He looked a strong stayer when keeping on well to win a two-mile-five-furlong maiden hurdle at Ludlow last season, while there is plenty of stamina in his family.
