Horse Racing Tips: Take Comfort and Lady for a Dundalk 50/1 Friday double

• Start off double with trainer who is 10-69

• International Lady ran well off a break last time

Dundalk - 18:30: Back Comfort Line

Some of the markets at Dundalk with the big fields can be pretty volatile and often I've tipped a horse in the morning and it's doubled in price, but I don't see too much changing with Comfort Line in the 18:30.

This is the first division of the 1m Handicap, and Comfort Line will be happier back down in distance after running over the extended 1m2f last time.

That was a much better run from the selection after a few wobbles, although it wasn't a stern test at the trip with the closing sectionals at 111%.

Adam Caffrey was on board for his last win back in mid-December from a mark of 63, and he's off that tonight.

He's the sort of horse that likes a bit of cover in his races and he's still very well treated on his rating from last year when he was in the 80s and McGuinness is 10-69 at the track this season.

Dundalk - 19:00: Back International Lady

International Lady doesn't win too often, but then neither do many in this race and at 11/26.50 she can hopefully hit the money.

She returned after a 102-day break last time to run a creditable fourth (beaten 1L) having come from a fair way back off the pace. The run might well have been needed

The 6yo ran second twice over the winter here off lower marks, so she does have to find a bit more here off 63 without Wesley Joyce's claim.

She hasn't got a great record going fresh so I am taking the view she needed that run 10 days ago and her draw tonight is perfectly adequate for a horse who likes to come held up.
