Alan Dudman has a Sportsbook double at Nottingham
Ralph Beckett's horses appear to be in much better form after a pedestrian start to the season and Worrals looks a fairly obvious pick on her handicap debut today at Nottingham.
The filly has winning form on soft, and with the ground riding with some soft in the description on Tuesday morning, she should be fairly happy on the surface.
Her win at Goodwood came under a prominent ride and she showed a good attitude to beat Love You Darling, with a big enough gap back to third not doubt that form.
Off 73 today reflects the standard of the race as it's not the strongest 3yo Handicap, but she's an obvious improver with the yard's horses now getting rolling.
By process of elimination, Carpathian at similar price is the nominated bet for the 16:40.
In opposition is James Fanshawe's Elladonna who heads the betting at 3/14.00, but I've backed her twice this term and on both occasions she has travelled well and hasn't gone through with the effort. She wears the hood today to try and rectify that, but I can't trust her now.
Also at the summit of betting is a Charlie Johnston horse, and as I don't back runners from that yard, Carpathian comes into equation.
The 3yo daughter of Wootton Bassett has a handicap run under her belt this season at Kempton, but it was steadily run and she could have done with a stronger pace.
Up to 1m2f looks sure to suit and she ran in some fairly good novices as a juvenile with steady improvement at shorter trips. She'll be much better over today's distance.
