Horse Racing Tips: Harry to stay in the game for Thursday 39/1 Yarmouth double

Yarmouth
Alan is hoping to find another winner at Yarmouth on Thursday

Alan Dudman tipped impressive winner Sapphire Seas yesterday at a BSP return of 7.64 and he sticks with Yarmouth again for Thursday's duo...

  • Sapphire Seas a winner yesterday for Alan at 7.64

  • Stayer looks progressive for another Yarmouth win

  • Eustace 33% placed with runners at track

Yarmouth - 16:30: Back Divine Comedy

Sapphire Seas was a most impressive single winner for the column yesterday with a taking display in the John Musker at Yarmouth and returned a decent 7.64 BSP. We stick with Yarmouth for Thursday.

The 1m6f staying handicap at 0-85 level sees Divine Comedy in a bid for a hat-trick, and at 7/24.50 in a small field is a big player.

She made her mark in a Redcar race towards the end of last season over today's trip for previous trainer Chris Wall, but her form has really taken off this term under Harry Eustace with 10L and 11L victories at Haydock and Doncaster.

The 4yo landed a big old punt at Donny in May having previously caught the eye and bettered that off a higher mark last time at Haydock with another double-digit win in an apprentice race.

Staying is her game and she handles most types of going with good to firm, good and good to soft all suitable and she cruised at Haydock last time down the straight and was the only runner to clock a sectional in the whole field under 12 seconds at 11.99.

Kaiya Fraser has ridden the filly five times with a record of 11123 and despite the new rise kicking in to a mark of 85, she's going so well she should be hard to stop.

Back Divine Comedy @ 7/24.50

Yarmouth - 17:05: Back Dreaming Spires

If Eustace has a good day today so will the column as I am going for the trainer's Dreaming Spires in the following race at 17:05 and looks to be on a good mark for handicap debut.

The 3yo filly Dreaming Spires wasn't seen as a juvenile and made her debut at Kempton earlier this year with a nice run behind Docklands - who is now rated over 100. She stayed on quite nicely in that run.

She was given a second start in May and scored in very deep ground at Thirsk in a Novice giving an indication she'll stay beyond a mile and she certainly wasn't doing anything quickly at Thirsk but ground out a staying effort.

The front three were also an absolute mile clear of the others.

Eustace has a 33% placed record at Yarmouth with his runners and this doesn't look a strong race at all.
