Backing a newcomer to deliver early on

Appleby stats should be boosted again
It's been a tricky and tough week trying to find a winner or two thus far, but Newmarket can hopefully turn the ride as three days of high-class action await and very much like the novel The Glass Bead Game - the playing elite is out today.
William Haggas has had a couple of short priced favourites turned over in recent days, including a 1/2 shot at Donny last night, but his serious guns are yet to come out - maybe Sea Just In Time will be one of them?
The daughter of Sea The Stars makes her debut in the 13:50 against a couple of Godolphin horses from Charlie Appleby, and the presence of those two blue runners will gives us a bit of a price at 11/26.50 on the debutante.
Now, backing newcomers isn't for everyone, but Haggas usually has a good Sea The Stars and I cannot resist the price on her considering her elite pedigree.
She's related to Truthful and Sea On Time, who are both out of the dam My Timing, and both of those were trained by Haggas and won.
Starting off at 1m2f is never an issue for anything by the elite stallion and with Ribblesdale and Irish Oaks entries, she takes the eye with her classic middle-distance pedigree.
It's about time Haggas had another high quality STS runner.
Charlie Appleby holds such an auguste position at Newmarket, it's no surprise to see many of his horses appear in the "popular multiples" section considering his runners today.
Bold Style runs in the Listed King Charles II Stakes and runs on the Rowley Mile for the second time this season having been beaten at the Craven meeting last month.
That could turn out to be a good race, but it was an odd sort of performance from the horse who dropped down from 1m to 7f that day and proved too keen.
It didn't help that the small field split, as we have grown accustomed too here, and William Buick kept him away from the main group. It backfired.
The 3yo won over a longer trip at Chelmsford as a 2yo, but he looked quick there, and the race which turned into a sprint suited him and I think the 7f avenue is still worth continuing with.
Appleby at Newmarket is the "Magister Ludo" - and has a ridiculous 50% placed record at the track.
