Horse Racing Tips: Fontwell 34/1 multiple can provide a Wednesday winter warmer

Back Flintara @ 6/1 in the 14:40 at Fontwell

Farasi Lane scored last night as a single winner at a decent BSP of 9.55, and it's a third single winner in three days for the column.

Prices however for Wednesday were not easy to find due to Catterick's abandonment and Kempton a doubt this evening. Fontwell may have small fields, but at least the meeting has survived the weather.

Flintara attracted support from 7/1 into 11/2 initially on the Sportsbook this morning, and she has a couple of things in her favour in that she is proven in the grade and acts on any ground.

Soft ground form might count for a lot here too.

The selection scored over 2m4f at Uttoxeter last time and has been raised 7lb to 99, but with Spitfire Girl (who re-opposes), the front two were 12L clear and that was her first run of the season - so she can improve again.

The 3m2f distance does pose a slight question but she's worth chancing at the odds.

King runners back in the frame

Back Lifetime Legend @ 4/1 in the 15:10 at Fontwell

Trainer Neil King hasn't enjoyed the best of seasons with just seven winners from 112 runners, but the signs have been better for the yard of late and Lifetime Legend goes for King at 4/1 in the 15:10.

He was sharp enough to win at Catterick last time under a hold-up ride from Bryony Frost and that was an improvement on his Huntingdon effort behind the multiple winner Blue Shark.

The trip of 2m3f is ideal for him, and off a low weight with his spark rediscovered, the penalty might not be enough to stop him.

Jack Quinlan takes over from Frost, and he's 1-2 at Fontwell this term at 50% with King holding an 18% around here in the last five seasons.
