Alan Dudman starts the week in search of a double at Ayr and Wolverhampton...

Both of Alan's picks were second yesterday
-
Jockey with a 31% strike-rate at Ayr this term
-
In-form sprinter can bag another win at Wolves
We've got a short price on Fiveafterfour at Ayr in the 16:45, although she drifted a little this morning on the Sportsbook to 13/82.63, and while I don't see too much of a further drift, she can hopefully start us off on a good foot.
The 6yo mare bolted up by nearly 7L last time at Ayr - upped that day to 2m5f, and the further 3m today promises to suit even more.
A rise of only 6lb for such a convincing win to 98 is quite lenient, and considering she ran against Doyen Du Bar previously, this is a very weak race with mares all rated under 100 - and she could prove to be better than that, especially as she looks made for today's extra stamina test.
There are not many negatives and Patrick Wadge continues to impress with his claim for the Lucinda Russell yard. He was on Fiveafterfour last time and at Ayr this season he has 5-16 at 31%.
It goes without saying she handles the testing ground.
Darlo Pride is drawn well tonight at Wolverhampton on the inside for a bid to follow up his recent win, and the 7/24.50 price can boost our double for Monday.
The 6yo is bordering into personal best grounds, but he got up late to win last time over CD against Jacquelina, and she since has run well again to get done by a nose.
Darlo Pride is very consistent on the All-Weather, and from 14 starts he has won four and placed second in five.
His mark of 68 does make things a little tougher but he's a fairly straightforward horse who is best on the speed, and I do think there's a big advantage coming up the rail at Wolverhampton - and he is the perfect pitch to pull it off.
