Tasha to make amends after 1.392/5 defeat in-play

Dakota unlucky last time at Wolverhampton

Alan Dudman has 7/24.50 and 4/15.00 selections
The Mares' Handicap Hurdler to close the Wincanton card looks an opportunity for Cast's Tasha to open her account for the season following a good effort at Exeter last time.
That was over 2m6f in good to soft conditions and she travelled best of all throughout the race but spurned an opportunity to win with a bad mistake at the last hurdle.
The pace was a strong one in that and her quickest sectional time came at the 2m5f marker, so her ability to stay shouldn't be in question.
She hit 1.392/5 in-running at Exeter so I expect her to travel well again today considering this looks an easier race from that 0-115 and she has her ground.
The 6yo won at Chepstow in the spring with the first-time tongue tie on and while she's 5lb higher here, she travels like a horse who could cut it in a better race. Well, better than this grade anyway.
Save for the two horses on debut from Godolphin and Jane Chapple-Hyam this evening at Wolverhampton, the card is no more than a terrible one, but at least there's a potential angle with Dakota Power in the finale at 20:30.
His effort over C&D last time was a nightmare from start to finish as he had trouble at the gates when leaving as he was man-marked by two horses either side and was squeezed out, then down the straight he was wide but opted for a move to the far side.
He ran on, and while it was a sound race in terms of pace with the front-runner waving the flag when wilting, his troubles at the start cost him.
The 4yo is still relatively lightly-raced and runs from the same mark 66 here. If he can keep out of trouble, which isn't always easy at Wolverhampton, he can gain a bit of compensation after last time.
