Low grade Bernie The Bear to strike

Twenty Bob was a selection for the column two weeks ago but ran quite disappointingly for his handicap debut two weeks ago, but I am prepared to give him another chance going up in trip.
He ran below market expectations too, not helped by a poor start where he seemed on the backfoot and he was ridden along going into the straight.
The front two both were handily ridden, and my take on that run was that he just wasn't quick enough. The visor coming on tonight will help, and should certainly sharpen him up, but 7f could be more suitable.
He did finish well on his debut at Yarmouth last year and the 3yo has been dropped a couple of pounds too and the drift makes him an interesting bet tonight as he went out to 6/17.00 this morning.
I've always had Bernie The Bear down as a fair traveller in a low grade and he's been solid this morning on the Sportsbook from 11/43.75 into 9/43.25.
His last win came in December when trained by Richard Fahey, off a mark of 52 on that occasion.
Since then with Linda Perratt he has yet to taste a win with his new yard but went close last time at Newcastle dropped down to 6f in a 0-52.
He has a second next to his name to this winter behind the win machine Bonito Cavalo, and considering he is consistent and usually runs his race, I'll give him a chance back up to 7f.
His trainer has had a winner from her last 10 runners but a few have hit the place too.
