Paul Nicholls Superboost
Bravemansgame finished runner-up in last year's Cheltenham Gold Cup and he's never failed to finish in the top five over fences. You can back him now to finish in the top five in today's Gold Cup at 15:30 at the super-boosted price of 2/13.00.
NAP - 15:30 - Back Galopin Des Champs @ 10/111.91
Galopin Des Champs was at his imperious best in this race last season. Despite not having the run of the race and being caught a bit far back, he powered up the Cheltenham hill to win by seven lengths going away at the finish. That race probably took quite a lot out of him and he was subsequently beaten by Fastorslow at Punchestown. However, he has been back to his best of late.
Beaten on debut this season over a trip that could be considered well over half-a-mile too short, the Willie Mullins charge beat Gerri Colombe by 23 lengths in the Savills chase over Christmas in a devastating display.
He then won again comfortably in February at the Dublin Racing Festival against his old rival Fastorslow and it will take a special performance from something to lower the colours of a horse that is bidding to become an all-time great.
Next Best - 14:10 - Back Zenta @ 11/112.00
The County Hurdle is always a tricky puzzle to solve and it often pays to investigate the trends of the race from previous years. Zenta is a five-year-old mare that was beaten in last year's Triumph hurdle by under two-and-a-half lengths by Lossiemouth, who duly bolted up on Tuesday in the Mares hurdle.
She also went on to land a grade 1 in the Aintree juvenile at the Grand National meeting. This season she tried chasing for the first time, but that didn't go to plan and then came a solid third in a very competitive race at the Dublin Racing Festival on handicap debut.
Five-year-olds have a good record in the race and she would fit the trends on official ratings too. You may even get a double figure price which could be a value play.
Each Way - 13:30 - Back Kargese e/w @ 13/27.50
The Triumph Hurdle this year looks an open contest. Sir Gino has been quite short in the market and on all known form he deserves to be. However, the form of Nicky Henderson this week has been well documented and it must be a worry for anyone who has backed him. That leaves the door open for some other horses to get a look in and the most interesting of these at a decent price is Kargese.

A group 3 winner in France before transferring to Willie Mullins, this filly will be getting the sex allowance to take a few lbs off her back. She beat Majborough and Storm Heart at the Dublin Racing Festival and there were no excuses for her rivals that day.
It does seem strange that they are both far shorter in the betting for this race. Eight of the last 12 winners of this race came from that spring Juvenile at Leopardstown so it is by far the best form on offer. She would go into this race with a live each-way chance.
Cheltenham/Serie A double - Dinoblue to win 16:50 + Bologna to win and Over 2.5 goals @ 7/24.50
Leg 1 - Back Dinoblue to win 16:50
Dinoblue has thrived since her second place finish in last year's Grand Annual, winning her next four starts including handicaps at Fairyhouse and Punchestown that spring, and kicking this season off with a Grade Three win at Naas and a massive Grade One victory at Leopardstown over Christmas by 7 ½ lengths to stablemate Gentleman De Mee.
Her winning run finally came to end when chasing home stablemate El Fabiolo at the Dublin Race Festival, but it was seemingly more down to her rival's class as opposed to her performance, as Willie Mullins said following the race:
"The best bit of work Dinoblue ever did was the week before the Dublin Race Festival, if El Fabiolo missed a beat somewhere, Dinoblue would be on top of him. But El Fabiolo didn't miss a single beat, he was just so good."
There are some doubts that she is unproven over this distance but she has been in great shape this season and has lots of scope to improve on her Cheltenham career performances so far. Having tasted Grade One glory last month, there's plenty of buzz around her big rise as a Grade One chaser. Mullins' mare will be hard to beat.
Leg 2 - Back Bologna and Over 1.5 goals
Bologna have been loving life in Serie A this campaign and they look to continue their top four push against an Empoli side who are having a very tough time at home.
Empoli have won only one of their last 10 home matches while Bologna have six wins in their last seven, dispatching Atalanta, Lazio and Fiorentina in the process. The first two mentioned there were also games on the road.
Goals also seem like a great odds booster in this one. Before their weekend defeat to Inter, Bologna had scored 2+ goals in an impressive eight consecutive games with each of Bologna's last three away fixtures witnessing at least three goals.
You could also consider taking the both teams to score angle here as Thiago Motta's men are without a clean sheet in their last 10 Serie A away fixtures.
