Matt Kuchar is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Kuchar has won six PGA Tour events during his 13-year professional career, racking up almost $15million in prize money during that time. With 30 top-10 finishes between 2009 and 2012, including topping the PGA Tour money list in 2010, Kuchar has established himself as one of the most consistent players in the world. Kuchar has spent more than 40 weeks inside the world top-10, reaching a career-high of number-five in 2010.

Kuchar's first win on the PGA Tour came at the Honda Classic in 2002, although just four years later the American was forced to play on the Nationwide Tour in order to regain his PGA Tour card. Seven years after his first PGA Tour win, Kuchar won a second PGA title in 2009 at the Turning Stone Resort Championship.
2010 was Kuchar's real breakthrough year, recording top-10 finishes at the US Open and the PGA Championship and earning his spot in the US Ryder Cup squad. After racking up a host of top-10 finishes throughout the season, Kuchar cemented his place at the top of the money list by winning The Barclays in New Jersey.
Despite not winning a tournament in 2011, Kuchar continued his consistent form throughout the year, finishing the season sixth in the money list, including top-5 finishes at the Accenture Match Play Championship and the Cadillac Championship. The American made his second Ryder Cup appearance during the 2011 season, but Kuchar could do nothing to stop Europe from collecting a famous win.
Kuchar produced another impressive year in 2012, including a career-best finish at a major when he tied for third at the Masters. Kuchar was tied for the lead on the back nine of the final round but bogeyed the par three 16th and finished two strokes out of the playoff between Bubba Watson and Louis Oosthuizen. Kuchar won the biggest tournament of his career when he clinched the The Players Championship later that season.
Kuchar started 2013 in sensational fashion, winning his first World Golf Championship event in February, defeating Hunter Mahan in the final of the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. Kuchar followed that victory up by finishing tied for eighth at the Masters. Another consistent season ended with the American finishing third in the PGA money list, possibly setting Kuchar up for a big 2014.
