It looked a bit dodgy for 20 minutes against Curacao before Germany took charge and hammered the minnows 7-1 - which incidentally saw them become the World Cup's all-time leading scorers with 239 goals.

So after back-to-back group stage exits, the Germans can progress with a game to spare by winning here as 8/151.53 favourites against Ivory Coast who needed a 90th minute winner to beat Ecuador 1-0 in their opener.

The Elephants are 9/25.50 underdogs but have some decent quality in their side, especially the highly rated Yan Diomande, and while they struggled to break down Ecuador, Germany are a lot more open under Julian Nagelsmann.

Even against Curacao the German defensive unit, both in terms of tactics and players, was unconvincing and you get the sense they'll have to outscore better opposition in this World Cup to have a chance. But scoring 3+ goals in six of their now 10 consecutive wins shows they have the firepower to do just that.

It's seven World Cup games on the spin without a clean sheet for Germany and both teams to score being 4/61.67 shows the expectation that Ivory Coast will get a goal.

Ivory Coast will try and make this a tough slog as they won't win a shootout, but Germany have scored first in nine out of 10 and another quick start will lead to yet another open game. Over 3.5 goals at 6/42.50 looks perfectly reasonable in what has all the ingredients to be a really entertaining game - with the Germans edging it.

Right then, there should be plenty of goals and shots here for us to get our teeth into. Germany are 13/82.63 to score over 2.5 goals, which as mentioned they've done six times in 10 thanks to their all-action style and abundance of creativity in the squad.

Kai Havertz was excellent in the last game and is 13/82.63 anytime goalscorer favourite here. Another interesting OddsBoost is Nico Schlotterbeck at 9/25.50 to have a headed shot on target. He scored against Curacao and was a constant menace at corners and set pieces so expect Germany to lean on those again here.

On the same theme Joshua Kimmich is the man for assists as he takes the set pieces and had two assists in the opening game - he's 15/82.88 for another assist here.

Florian Wirtz is another player to watch and a boosted Bet Builder to back Liverpool man with is the 6/17.00 on him to have a goal or assist and to be fouled 2+ times. He's a key player and sure to garner some attention from the Ivory Coast defence.

Jamal Musiala is 9/52.80 to score again while Felix Nmecha scored and looked dangerous throughout with a team-high three shots on target, so 5/16.00 on him to score again looks a big price.

Even Nmecha at 1/12.00 for just one shot on target looks a great shout for Bet Builders, as does the 4/51.80 on Aleksandar Pavlovic to have 2+ fouls as Germany's main disruptor. He had six fouls against Curacao.
