LA Galaxy v Portland Timbers
Saturday 18 June, 22:00 kick-off
It's nice when we get an MLS game kicking off at a reasonable hour over here in the UK, so we're taking a look at the LA Galaxy as they host the Portland Timbers on Saturday.
Once the darlings of the MLS, the Galaxy have had lean few years, having not been crowned champions since 2014 and only making the play-offs once in the last five seasons.
Will Ferrell's upstart Los Angeles FC have also taken some of the shine off the Galaxy - but both sides are up there in the Western Conference after decent starts.
Greg Vanney's Galaxy now welcome a struggling Portland side to LA, with the Timbers having lost their last three, conceding at leats twice each time, to slip to 12th in the standings.
The Galaxy have been an erratic side this season and are looking to win three games in a row for the first time - but Portland look an ideal candidate having kept just two clean sheets and conceded 25 in their 15 games so far.
Portland will fancy a goal though, as they've scored in three of their last four away and LA are without a clean sheet in six - and without one at home in four.
Both teams to score is 1.68/13 and has landed in the last six meetings.
As for players, Javier Hernandez is the go-to guy for the Galaxy, with 'Chicharito' their top scorer having bagged in his last two.
Chicharito is just 1.68/13 to score but around the same for two shots on target, which he's managed five times this season and can do again here.
Young Serbian striker Dejan Joveljic has had a Chicharito-type impact of late, especially in the last game when he scored two and assisted twice in just a 34-minute substitute cameo.
That performance may not land him the start, but even if not he's shown he can make a big impact off the bench.
Having a goal invovlement again may be a stretch, but he's shown that two shots on target at 2.35/4 is not beyond him - and should be the least he manages if he gets the start.
Wrapped up it makes for a tasty Bet Builder.
