Football Bet of the Day: Back lethal Lautaro to strike

It's always nice when a Bet Builder starts falling into place early on, and Wout Weghorst producing a shot on target in only the third minute of Hoffenheim's game against Bochum was a great start last night. The other legs landed too, as Hoffenheim ran out 3-1 winners.

We'll look to maintain that momentum in Italy, because Inter are looking to return to the top of Serie A with a home win against Udinese, and I fancy the peerless Lautaro Martinez to find the net once again.

I've felt for some time that Inter are the best team in Italy, and even though Napoli ran away with the Scudetto last term, Inter's run to the Champions League final was indicative of a team and a coach who could really go places. Simone Inzaghi has delivered back-to-back Coppa Italia wins for the Nerazzurri, and I believe he'll now show he can win leagues as well as cup competitions.

Inter have won 11 of their 14 league matches, and at San Siro they have won eight of their last 10 in the league, including a 5-1 demolition of city rivals Milan. In all competitions, they have won 12 of the last 14 games on home soil.

Inter's charge this season has been led by talismanic striker Lautaro Martinez. The Argentinean World Cup winner has fired in 13 Serie A goals in just 14 appearances, including a vital goal in the recent 1-1 draw at title rivals Juventus.

Udinese have won just once all season in the league, and have bizarrely drawn nine of their 14 games. They have conceded 21 goals, including three each in their last two games. They have lost 3-0 to Juventus and 4-1 to Napoli, and I can't see them containing Inter here. I'll back Lautaro Martinez to score and Over 6.5 Corners at 2.0421/20 on the Sportsbook's Bet Builder.
