In Finland last night, TPS and Mikelli drew 1-1 to bring home our BTTS bet.
We're switching up to international football today as the latest round of Euro 2024 qualifying kicks in. Gibraltar face France in Group B and the match is all set up to be as one sided as you might imagine.
Gibraltar have lost their opening two Group B matches 3-0 at home to Greece and 3-0 away to the Netherlands. Julio Cesar Ribas's men are now W0-D0-L40 in qualifiers since they entered international football about a decade ago.
Backing Gibraltar's opponents to Win to Nil has been the right bet in 29/40 - including 15/20 when Gibraltar are the home team. The margin of defeat has been at least four goals in 24/40, including 10/20 at home.
France have won their first two qualifiers without conceding: 4-0 at home to the Netherlands, then 1-0 in Ireland. Going back to 2019, France's last eight wins in Euro and World Cup qualifiers have all come with clean sheets.
At the other end, France of course bring a significant attacking threat. Kylian Mbappe's future with PSG might be up in the air, but his recent past is impressive: he's notched in 7/8 club appearances since mid-April, scoring at least twice in three of those games.
Mbappe's also scored twice in two of his last three internationals - that big win over the Netherlands and before that was the World Cup final hat-trick.
Going back to October, France's star man has scored twice or more in 11/37 games for club and country. None of those previous opponents were as weak as Gibraltar. On the last four occasions he's netted for Les Bleus, he's gone on to score at least twice.
For an even money bet on a match that's surely only going one way, we'll take Mbappe to score at least twice tonight.
