Iceland head south to Germany for a World Cup qualifier tonight, but their journey might not be completely in vain, says Tobias Gourlay

In Ljubljana last night, the outsiders scored early and things were looking good. But the visitors never responded and for the first time in 12 games Croatia failed to land a BTTS bet. Nevertheless we're making the same bet tonight.
Iceland travel to Germany as Group J of World Cup qualifying gets underway this evening. At a juicy price, we fancy the raiders from the north can at least nick a goal.
Here's the crucial stat: Germany conceded at least once in all six of their Nations League games in the second half of last year.
Since September Iceland have lost seven of their eight competitive internationals. However, they have scored in five of the last seven of those matches, including 3/4 on foreign turf. With the Nordic nation leaking at least twice on all of those overseas trips, there's little danger of Germany not netting tonight. At the other end, we'll back the outsiders to find a way through and help us land a BTTS bet.
