Mauro Icardi has scored 14 goals already for Galatsaray this season

After securing a winner in Sweden, the FBOTD column moves to Turkiye for a Champions League clash, and Kevin Hatchard expects to be entertained.

My daughter and I have recently become obsessed with the documentary series Border Control: Sweden, so it's probably appropriate that Sweden gave us a winning start to the week, as our boys Elfsborg swept aside AIK 3-0.

Now we'll switch our attention to the Champions League, and I think Galatasaray v Bayern Munich could be one of the most exciting games of the week.

Gala got their Champions League campaign back on track on Matchday 2, as they came from behind to beat Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford. Wilfried Zaha gleefully scored against his old club, and the unstoppable goalscoring force that is Mauro Icardi netted the winner. The former Inter striker also scored a brace in the weekend's Istanbul derby win over Besiktas.

Galatasaray are the defending champions in Turkiye, and they have now won 12 of their last 13 games in all competitions. They have packed a huge amount of attacking talent into their squad. Outside of Icardi and Zaha, they have Kerem Akturkoglu, Dreis Mertens, Haikm Ziyech, Tete and Bar Alper Yilmaz.

Although Bayern have won both of their Champions League games so far and are only two points off top spot in the Bundesliga, I remain unconvinced by Thomas Tuchel's side at this stage.

The Bavarian giants have left themselves undermanned in defensive positions (so much so that they flirted with the idea of bringing back veteran Jerome Boateng), and the lack of a specialist defensive midfielder is a real problem, especially away from home.

Bayern are papering over the cracks with their individual quality at the moment. Harry Kane has already rattled in nine Bundesliga goals, Leroy Sané is arguably playing the best football of his career, and teenage striker Mathys Tel is proving to be a deadly super-sub.

I can't get excited by backing Bayern to win at 1.4840/85. This will be a vibrant atmosphere, and the german champions are up against a confident side packed with attacking talent.

Therefore I'll go for goals - we can back BTTS, Over 2.5 Goals and Over 7.5 Corners on the Sportsbook's Bet Builder at 2.0421/20. Both teams have found the net in seven of Bayern's last ten competitive matches, including their two UCL games so far.
