Rangers are past masters at handling Ross County

Rangers tend to romp past Ross County, but the hosts could at least nick a goal tonight, says Tobias Gourlay

  • Rangers have won 13/14 head to heads

  • But they've conceded in 7/8 on the road this term

  • Ross have scored in 4/4 hosting top-5 teams

In Greece yesterday, PAOK scored a goal in each half to beat Panaitolikos 2-0 and land our handicap bet.

We're looking for another winner north of the border today as one of Friday's two Scottish Premiership games brings Rangers to Ross County. The Gers need to keep winning if they are to put any pressure on Celtic at the top of the table, and they should take all three points from this one.

Michael Beale's men are W13-D1-L0 in home and away head-to-heads with Ross County since 2017. They've scored at least four goals in 6/7, winning this season's earlier encounter 4-0 at Ibrox.

However, Rangers have only managed one clean sheet from eight road trips this season. Backing both teams to score has been the right thing to do in 6/8.

Ross County are down in 10th and just W2-D2-L5 at Victoria Park. Nevertheless, the Staggies have scored at least once in 7/9 - including 4/4 against teams now alongside Rangers in the top five. At a nice price we'll take Rangers to win but both teams to score tonight.
