Solly March: Likes to shoot from range

With Everton conceding more shots at goal than any other Premier League side, our football props column is eyeing Brighton shots on Tuesday night...

  • Everton concede more shots than any other PL side

  • March & Dunk can take advantage

  • Godfrey completes 9/2 shots Bet Builder

Everton have conceded more shots in this season's Premier League than any other side - over 16 per game on average - and that looks an angle to pursue here.

The Toffees won plaudits for their hard-earned 1-1 draw at Manchester City on New Year's Eve, a match which saw Frank Lampard switch to five at the back.

The demanding Goodison Park crowd will want a more attacking outlook here - wins are very much required - but it will be hard for Lampard to drop any of his backline after Saturday's efforts.

If he sticks with the 5-3-2 formation, then Everton risk being overrun in the midfield, something that's happened all too often in the past 18 months, and Brighton's slick passing may well create plenty of chances.

Looking at those shots markets, I like the look of Solly March for 2+ shots, something he's landed in four of 10 away starts this season.

He's often been seen letting fly having cut in from the right this season and can do so again here against a team who offer up plenty of chances to shoot.

Everton's shaky nature at corners - and their propensity to concede them in the first place (they lead the league for corners given up) - also means Lewis Dunk is worth backing for at least one shot.

With Shane Duffy having departed and Adam Webster injured, Dunk has been the main set-piece threat again for Brighton. He's landed the 1+ shot bet in seven of his last 11 games and I'd be surprised if he doesn't manage to head goalwards at some point here.

To complete a three-legged Bet Builder, I'm going to add Everton's Ben Godfrey to the mix.

He was excellent against City making it hard to drop him and when he plays he's often able to get a shot away.

The England international is only just back from injury but include last season's stats and he's now managed 1+ shot in 10 of his last 17 appearances.

We're getting 10/11 here which looks good.

The treble pays around 9/2.
