Wednesday Football Tips: Stick with Luis Suarez in 9/2 double

We're off to Brazil for Wednesday's column and what looks a decent game between Gremio and Athletico Paranaense in Porto Alegre.

Gremio are third in the standings, with Athletico in eighth but just three points behind the hosts in what's a congested part of the table.

Athletico have only lost one of the last five away from home, but Gremio are one of the best home teams in the division - losing just one league game all season.

Leg 1: Luis Suarez goal or assist

Former Liverpool and Barcelona striker Luis Suarez may be getting on a bit but he's still making a huge impact for Gremio.

He's got nine goals in the league, but five of those have come in his last seven games as he's found a real hot streak.

If you throw in his three recent assists then he's got a goal involvement in seven of his last eight - and makes Evens for him to score or assist more than reasonable.

Leg 2: Luis Suarez 2+ fouls

While we're on Luis Suarez, we've all seen how he plays and in big games like this we know he's not scared to cross a line or two.

He's on the edge most of the time anyway, but with Athletico chasing them down for direct entry into next year's Copa Libertadores.

And like with his goals, Suarez has found a run of form with giving away fouls - six in his last three games to be precise.

So with two games in his last three with multiple fouls, backing Suarez for 2+ fouls at 17/102.70 makes a lot of sense.
