Brentford have scored in the first minute of their last three Premier League matches so Betfair have opened specials markets on the Bees striking early against Wolves on Saturday.

Last weekend, Brentford became the first Premier League team to open the scoring in the first minute of three consecutive matches.

Bryan Mbuemo's 37th minute strike gave the Bees the lead at home to West Ham. However, Thomas Frank's men failed to build on their brilliant start and drew the match 1-1.

That continued a frustrating pattern for Brentford who, after scoring in the opening minute of three league matches in a row, have failed to go on to win any of them (D1 L2), or even score again.

Will Brentford score early against Wolves on Saturday? Betfair have opened specials markets on the Bees making it four first minute goals in a row.

Gary O'Neil's team are struggling and Mbeumo and his team-mates may fancy their chances against a defence that have conceded 16 goals in their six league matches from just 9.8 xG against.

Who has scored Brentford's first minute goals?

The extraordinary Brentford early goals run began on 14 September when when Yoane Wissa netted after 22 seconds against Manchester City.

The following week, after 23 seconds, Mbeumo gave his side the lead against Tottenham.

Then it was the Cameroonian again with his 37 second strike against the Hammers.

None of these goals, however, are even close to being the fastest in Premier League history. That honour goes to Shane Long who scored after 7.96 seconds for Southampton against Watford in 2018/19.

Philip Billing comes next with his 9.82 goal for Bournemouth against Arsenal in 2022/23.

Betfair ambassador Alan Shearer is fourth on the list for his 10:52 seconds strike for Newcastle against Manchester City in 2002/23.

Will there a Brentford goal on that list come Saturday afternoon? We will see and you can find the Betfair football specials markets on their match against Wolves here.
