Football Bet of the Day: Attackers to have a ball in Arnhem

The Angels came crashing down to Earth in Sweden yesterday and brought us with them. IFK Goteborg's goalless draw with Hammarby left us well short of our goals target.

We're dusting ourselves down in the Netherlands, where there are the second legs of the Europa League playoff semi-finals tonight. Vitesse Arnhem finished the regular season in fifth, but must now come from 1-2 down if they are to beat eighth-placed FC Groningen and claim a place in the playoff final.

Vitesse need goals, then, and we fancy they can get a few. The hosts scored 15 times across their final four Eredivisie home games of the regular season, which included matches against the teams that finished second and fourth. In the calendar year 2019, they have scored 28 times in nine league appearances at the GelreDome. In all nine of those matches, they also conceded at least once themselves. Back in August last year, Groningen's regular-season trip to Arnhem brought a 5-1 thrashing for the visitors.
