Football Bet of the Day: Double Dutch delight in Arnhem

As that one plays out to what we hope will be a lively finish, we've got to prep you for this evening's Eredivisie game in the Netherlands. Sixth-placed Vitesse Arnhem host 14th-placed Excelsior and we fancy both teams can contribute to an entertaining Friday night.

Leonid Slutskiy's Vitesse are heavy favourites to win. They might be sixth but, home and away, they are nine games without a clean sheet. At the GelreDome, both teams have scored in 6/8 league games this term, including each of the last four.

Adrie Poldervaart's visitors have conceded at least twice in 7/9 away games this season, so we have little doubt that Vitesse will score. At the other end, the strugglers have scored themselves on 6/8 road trips, which gives us hope that they can at least find a consolation this evening. Indeed, since Excelsior returned to the top flight in 2014, both teams have scored in 3/4 runnings of this fixture. We're backing tonight's clash to make it 4/5.
