We went fishing for mackerel and ended up landing something much bigger than we wanted. GAIS 2 Osters 2 in Sweden yesterday means we need to bounce back big tonight.

In the last couple of years, both teams have scored in all five of Vardar Skopje's Champions League qualifiers, and we fancy that trend to continue at the Philip II Arena this evening.

A week ago to the day, the Red & Blacks beat Malmo 3-1 here to win their previous tie. Going back a decade and a half to 2002, their home stadium has seen 7/9 Champions League qualifiers serve up goals at both ends.

Tonight's visitors are also from Scandinavia. Since the start of last season, Denmark's FC Copenhagen have scored on 6/7 Champions League away days. Only Leicester City - who were memorably parsimonious at Europe's top table last term - shut them out. At the other end, the Danes have conceded once in five of the last six.
