Having put one foot into the Champions League semi-finals in midweek, Chelsea's focus returns to securing a top-four Premier League finish in this game.
They should be confident of getting a result with last week's 5-2 home defeat to West Brom something of a freak with the early dismissal of Thiago Silva obviously a contributing factor.
Palace's last game saw them gain a rather fortuitous point at Everton, who had plenty of chances to put the game to bed before the Eagles grabbed a late equaliser.
The Toffees' chance creation that day should encourage Chelsea - even with 10 men last week they still managed 18 shots.
With this in mind, Marco Alonso looks a big price at 7/1 to have 2+ shots on target.
Alonso will likely return to the starting XI as left wing-back here with Ben Chilwell expected to be saved for Tuesday's second leg against Porto.
The Spaniard, frozen out by Frank Lampard, is enjoying his renaissance under Thomas Tuchel and he's been given plenty of licence to get forward in that role.
He's managed two shots on target in three of his last six games, including last week against West Brom.
Admittedly Palace don't concede as many shots as the Baggies but they are still pretty high up in such lists - in the top six for shots conceded and top seven for shots on target conceded.
Alonso is happy to pull the trigger when given the chance and he is also adept at getting in at the far post when crosses come in from the right.
A bonus for backers is he's also a mean free-kick taker - one of last week's efforts came from a direct free-kick just outside the penalty area.
A possible alternative is to back Alonso for 2+ shots of any sort at 8/11 - he's landed this bet in seven of his 10 starts since his return to the fold.
