Football Bet of the Day: Flood of goals in Sandefjord

The sun did not shine on us in Sweden yesterday. A 1-0 home win for Sirius left us well short of the goals mark.

We're giving northern Europe one more chance to impress us today. One of tonight's Norwegian 1st Division matches sees unbeaten Sandefjord entertain mid-table Skeid, but the hosts might not have everything their own way.

Sandefjord (W4-D3-L0) were relegated from Norway's Eliteserien last season, but look set to challenge for an immediate return to the top flight. The Whalers have scored at least twice in 5/7 at home and away, including each of the most recent four. At the other end, they are five games without a clean sheet as both teams have scored in 5/5.

Skeid (W2-D2-L3) also arrived in the 1st Division this term, but came up as champions from a level below. Nonetheless, they've made a solid start to the campaign and are starting to look dangerous. The Bulls have scored at least twice in each of their last four at home and away. As a result, we're pretty bullish about their chances of finding the back of the net at the Komplett Arena this evening and delivering on our BTTS bet.
