Football Bet of the Day: Salt Lake are the Real deal

In Finland yesterday, EIF slumped to a 1-4 home defeat against KTP. The consolation probably means little to the hosts, but it's everything to us as it landed our BTTS bet.

Today we're crossing the pond for one of tonight's MLS matches. Real Salt Lake have a fine home record under Mike Petke and we fancy them to improve it yet further with a win over travel-sick Columbus Crew. The hosts have recently won three in a row at Rio Tinto Stadium and 5/7 since the start of this season. Since Petke took charge in 2017, they have taken all three points from almost two-thirds of their home games (25/39).

Visiting Columbus have lost 10/12 home and away. On the road Gregg Berhalter's men been beaten in six straight. Since 2016, they have emerged empty handed from 60% of all their away matches (35/58). With short- and long-term records both suggesting Real Salt Lake should probably be a bit shorter than 1.728/11 to triumph in tonight's clash, we're jumping into bed with the hosts.
