"Going back into last term, EIF have scored in 11/14 on home turf and conceded in the same fraction"
EIF take on KTP in Finland this afternoon and Tobias Gourlay's hoping for some grade-A entertainment
EIF v KTP
Tuesday 16:30
In Sweden yesterday, Hacken beat Hammarby 2-0 to give us a winning start to the month. On a very quiet day for club football around the world, we're looking to consolidate that good result across the border in Finland.
This afternoon there are two games from the 10-team, second-tier Ykkonen and it's sixth-placed KTP's trip to eighth-placed EIF that's drawn us in. The hosts are averaging four goals a game at Ekenas Centrumplan this season, helped in no small part by one particular 7-2 success. Nevertheless, both teams have scored in 4/5 and that's our bet for today's clash. Going back into last term, EIF have scored in 11/14 on home turf and conceded in the same fraction.
Visiting KTP lost their first away game of the season 3-6 but have settled down a bit since then. They have still scored in 4/5 overall, however. Both teams have scored in each of this pair's last three head-to-heads and we fancy Argo Arbeiter's men can grab at least one goal against the rickety home defence on show today.
