"Montreal Impact are only one place above their hosts, but they've lost only 2/6 this term"
Tobias Gourlay fancies the visitors to make an Impact in the first MLS game of the weekend
Philadelphia Union v Montreal Impact
Saturday 18:00 (Live on Sky Sports 5)
The boys from Nancy stood taller than we expected in France last night. A goalless draw might be useful for them in their fight against relegation, but doesn't really help Marseille - or us - with our targets for the rest of the season. Selfish.
We're crossing the Atlantic today for the televised evening game from the MLS. Philadelphia Union have lately lost four in row and, after six rounds of the new season, sit rock bottom of the Eastern Conference. Most recently, they've lost back-to-back games at Talen Energy Stadium and we don't think they should be even-money favourites to take the points this evening.
Montreal Impact are only one place above their hosts, but they've lost only 2/6 this term. A home win last time out suggests they might have turned a corner. Philadelphia are not so much turning corners as plummeting into downward spirals. Going back to last July, they've won just 1/10 on home turf and we're opposing them tonight.
