Football Bet of the Day: Society hosts to put on a show

In Sweden last night, Kalmar FF lost 0-1 at home to Orebro. They won't be happy with that result, but we'll take it. It sets us off on the right foot for the new week. Not that we're actually going anywhere today. It's Sweden again, for tonight's game from the second-tier Superettan.

Thomas Askebrand's Orgryte are eighth in the 16-team league, one place ahead of visitors GAIS. When these two met earlier this season, it finished 4-4 and we fancy they will both bring something to the party again this evening.

The hosts, known as the Society, have been very accommodating at Gamla Ullevi this season. Last time out, they lost 3-4 to top-of-the-table Helsingborg, which marked the fourth time in five matches that both teams had scored there.

On the road under Bosko Orovic, the visiting Mackerels are yet to manage a clean sheet in 16 attempts. At the other end, however, they have scored themselves in 8/9 this term, which means - of course - that BTTS has been a winning bet in 8/9. It might be a short price today, but we're taking the bait.
