Football Bet of the Day: Lowe to take Perth Glory high again

We're back to Australia today for the A-League game between sixth-placed Newcastle Jets and some old friends of the column... fifth-placed Perth Glory.

Newcastle's last three league games have served up 15 goals, and that exciting form's encouraging us to aim higher than usual today. The Jets have scored at least twice on each of their last five league appearances, while Kenny Lowe's Perth have struck twice themselves in 7/8 head-to-heads.

The Jets, who start as favourites, are 12 games without a clean sheet. They've leaked at least twice in nine of those matches so, if they are to take all three points from this one, they might well need at least three goals of their own.
