Football Bet of the Day: Another standout game for the Black Sheep

In Germany last night, the hosts shut out the visitors and our BTTS bet was left out in the cold with Iceland as they lost 3-0.

There's a brief break in the international action today, so we're headed to the Netherlands for one of this evening's two games from the Eerste Divisie. Third-placed Almere City have been full of goals on recent road trips and we fancy them to get high again as they take on 14th-placed MVV Maastricht in a fixture that finished 3-2 to the hosts last season.

Since Ole Tobiasen took charge midway through last term, the Black Sheep of Almere City have delivered Over 3.5 Goals in 13/21 away games. This season, that trend has firmed to 10/14, including nine of the last 11.

MVV Maastricht have improved at De Geusselt recently, winning all of their last four home league games for an overall W6-D2-L6 record. We're hopeful this means the outsiders can at least score today against a visiting defence that has notched just one clean sheet from 14 road trips.
