Football Bet of the Day: Rayo Vallecano to croak it in Spain

Levante are top of Spain's Segunda Division and we're surprised to see them as an odds-against shot to win at home to 14th-placed Rayo Vallecano this evening.

Both sides were relegated from the Primera Division last season, but it's Juan Ramon Muniz's Frogs who have readjusted to lower-league life much better. They're W6-D2-L0 at the Ciutat de Valencia, with the two draws coming against sides that are now alongside them in the top four.

Rayo Vallecano have a new boss, Ruben Baraja, and he recently guided them to their first away win of the campaign. But that 1-0 success was at Gimnastic, who are way down the table in 22nd. The Madrid club are W1-D1-L6 on the road since the start of term and, having scored just six times in those eight games, we don't fancy they'll be able to keep pace with their hosts tonight.
