"Roberto Breda'svisitors might be sitting much prettier in eighth place, but they've logged just a single clean sheet from eight away games"
There are some featherweight defences on show in Italy tonight and Tobias Gourlay wants to see them ripped apart
Ascoli v Entella
Tuesday 19:30
It was a flying start to the week as Jagiellonia Bialystock came from 1-0 and 2-1 down to win 3-2 at Arka Gdynia in Poland last night. We're banking more air miles on our way south to Italy today.
Ascoli's last two home matches in Serie B have finished 2-2 and we fancy they'll lay on a bit more entertainment for us this evening.
Alfredo Aglietti's side are down in 18th and that's in large part down to some poor displays at the Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca. The Woodpeckers have conceded twice or more in 4/5 there recently, which means it's something of a relief that they've started to score more regularly themselves.
Home and away, they've now struck twice in 4/6 and should find a way past Virtus Entella. Roberto Breda's visitors might be sitting much prettier in eighth place, but they've logged just a single clean sheet from eight away games so far this term.
At the other end, the Black Devils have scored themselves in 6/7, and that strong record confirms our view that both teams should find the back of the net tonight.
