Fifth-placed Inter can jump up to third with a win over fourth-bottom Cagliari this evening. With a W10-D5-L1 home record, the Nerazzurri are fully expected to despatch their relegation-threatened opponents, but it's the manner in which they might do it that's caught our eye.

Luciano Spalletti's men have conceded just once across Serie A's last seven rounds. At the San Siro, seven of this season's 10 wins have been accompanied by a clean sheet and it's the home win to nil that we're backing this evening.

Cagliari failed to score last time out on the road at second-bottom Verona. The islanders were also shut out by the teams currently vying with Inter for third place: they lost 0-3 at Lazio and 0-1 at Roma. We fancy them to complete an unwanted hat trick tonight.
