We're still waiting to see if defences shatter in China this lunchtime and will reflect on that game in tomorrow's column. Meantime, we're travelling the 400-odd miles from Nanjing to Zhengzhou for one of Saturday's Super League matches.

Tenth-placed Henan Jianye at home to 13th-placed Shenzhen FC might not be the day's glamour tie, but it is the one showing promising signs of BTTS - and at a reasonable price. Wang Baoshan's hosts have the 16-team league's joint worst home record (W1-D1-L4) and its joint worst home defence (13 goals conceded across those six matches). At the other end, the Red Devils have scored twice themselves in three of their last four appearances at Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium.

Juan Ramon Lopez Caro's visitors have conceded on 6/6 road trips this term, leaking at least twice in four of the last five. The Phoenix have lost without scoring in four matches against teams now in the top seven of the table, but two previous trips to bottom-half outfits like Henan finished 2-2 and 1-3. Given the shakiness of this particular home defence, we're happy to take 1.865/6 about both teams scoring on Saturday lunchtime.
