Tobias Gourlay's found good reasons to make a rare trip to Slovenia
Gorica v Rudar
Tuesday 16:00
Godset never got going in Norway last night. They were held to a goalless draw by Viking that left us well short of our goals target. We're hoping to get back on track in Slovenia this afternoon.
In the 10-team Slovenian Premier League, ninth-placed Gorica entertain seventh-placed Rudar and we're expecting goals. With four rounds to go, Gorica are two points shy of safety and six points behind their visitors, so we fancy Sasa Kolman's men to go all out for the win.
Since late October, the Roses have delivered Over 2.5 Goals in 8/10 league games at Nova Gorica Sports Park. They have lost seven of those games and managed only one clean sheet, but have performed better at the other end of the field, scoring themselves in 7/10. When Rudar visited in November, the match finished 2-2.
In 2019, all seven of Rudar's away games have produced Over 2.5 Goals in a sequence of results that has brought everything from a 4-0 win to a 0-6 defeat. The Miners themselves have scored at least twice in 5/7, finding the back of the net a total of 13 times across the most recent five outings. At the back, they have notched just one clean sheet, conceding at least three times in 5/7. We reckon there are more goals on the way today.
